The Rogers #1 Advanced Bore Cleaning Solution is by far the best product on the
market to quickly clean and polish the bore and chamber of any firearm. The
product will aggressively remove copper, lead, carbon, and plastic and powder
residue. It can be used with bronze or nylon brushes. If you use bronze brushes,
when finished completely wash the solution off the brush to prevent the solution
from attacking the brush.
The product was developed over months of consultation between Bill Rogers and
the Radiator Specialty Company of North Carolina. The Radiator Specialty
Company, (RSC) is one of the largest chemical companies in the U.S. for
commercial products such as “Liquid Wrench” “Gunk” “Stop Leak” and many
other well-known brands. The Bore Cleaning Solution developed by RSC and Bill
Rogers was sold by the Rogers Holster Company along with the Bore Squeeg-e
Gun Cleaning Kit. The Bore Squeeg-e was patented by Rogers. It replaced the use
of cloth and rope patches. Rogers also sold the cleaning solution and patented
Squeeg-e product to Bushmaster and Remington. They re-branded the products
and sold them under the Bushmaster and Remington names, until the companies
went out of business. The Bore Cleaning Solution and Squeeg-e cleaning products
are now exclusively sold by the Rogers Shooting School Inc.
